Paws For The Night

As the owner of Paws For The Night, Maureen Predmore will be working very closely with her husband, Jim to ensure they provide excellent care and attention to your dog. Maureen worked almost 30 years for the IBM Corporation retiring in June, 2007. Jim worked for Highland Telephone for almost twenty years then worked for IBM prior to his retirement in 2001.

Jim and Maureen met through relatives over 30 years ago and married in 1985. They blended their families which consisted of 7 children. They have 12 grandchildren. Throughout the years, Maureen and Jim have owned many dogs, and Maureen always dreamed of starting a dog boarding business. This is her dream come true.

Currently, they are the proud parents of three Bichons…Haley, Shelby, and Lucas. Lucas was adopted from the local animal shelter. To say these dogs are spoiled is an understatement. To board these dogs at a kennel is not an option for them. So they understand how some owners would want their dogs to stay in an environment where they are loved and cared for while you are away. They also will be very safe as both Jim and Maureen are trained and certified in pet CPR and first-aid.

Paws for the Night is fully insured and is a member of Pet Sitters Associates LLC. As they will be only accepting a few dogs at a time, your dog will be treated like one of their own. Your dog will be able to hang out on the couch with them, sleep on their bed and roam throughout the house (unless you specify otherwise). It would be like dropping your dog off at Nana and Pop Pop’s while you go away on vacation or business. They look forward to taking care of your loved one.
